Some hints about the specs can be found in the advertisement, but does anyone know more? I couldn't find any concrete info really (google fails with this particular term).

Yeah, I'm not finding too much info on this myself. Only real thing that came up when searching for "SoundBuster" was this thing, which is totally different to the "SoundBuster" sound card:

A Google Maps search of the address given for the company shows a private residence, and not a business. That's probably why you never heard of one before, it was a mom and pop operation run out of someone's living room.
