So I bought an old joystick (GamePort, I believe) for use with my old recently-upgraded-to-Windows-95 computer...

...but for some reason, the Y-axis refuses to be detected. The joystick has "Auto A" and "Auto B" switches and two sliders (one for each axis), but I'm not sure what they do. Any ideas?
