I recreated the famous Portal ending credits in a C program including 80x43 text mode and Sound blaster support
and outputs it to an old amber monochrome monitor. Just like the original sequence was suppose to be as if it it were on a mono monitor

edit:

For those not in the know "Portal" is a video game from 2007 that has a famous ending sequence featuring the antagonist GLaDOS singing "Still Alive" and displaying lyrics and credits on
a fake amber/orange screen.

Thanks! I enjoyed that! I wish I could have seen the monitor screen a bit closer/clearer.

Thanks!

He is one of my subscriptions so I saw that. In fact that kind of encouraged me to do this.

On my version my goal was to recreate the whole thing including the lyric window on the left, the credits on the right-top and the ASCII art in the bottom-right as well as playing back and syncing to the original audio.
Luckily it all fit just perfectly in 80x43 mode. I could not do that in 80x25 mode.

Ha, that's awesome! 😎 Can't imagine how long this took you though...

It took a while. Over 8 hours mainly fixing bugs and tweaking timing.
But it was fun to see
