Hey there.

I have a few of the Trident 8900's, specifically two of the B models, and a C.

I was wondering what the card slot at the top side of the card is for? A different standard of XT/AT? or some proprietry device to plug into. Or perhaps (although I doubt it) a pairing system for two cards?

Thank you in advance..

Wasn't that used for conecting MPEG cards and those things?

That's pretty damn interesting. I had a feeling it was something along the lines of skirting around bandwidth issues.

Kinda old for the likes of my 486 system (I have a nice 2mb VESA gfx card), and that feature is useless for me anyway as I have no other devices to communicate with the card.
