Hi all,

Again, an itch of 486 system fiddling need has been released from my inner myself. Forgot about my SCSI CD-RW drive giving me hardtime reading CDs burned with top speeds. Thus wanted to use my 10Mbit LAN to connect to my win7 laptop. Of course win7 to win95 connection is flawless, I can access everything, but not vice versa. Everything is shared, permissions given, firewall off, network sharing enabled - still get Password Incorrect when connecting from the 486 to the laptop. Have the win95OSR2.5, can PING everyone, we're in ''WORKGROUP'' workgroup. Funny thing - The workgroup in win7 and XP is diferrent from the one in win95 (presumably the 98 also) - win XP can find computers on my LAN under that workgroup, all of them besides the 486. I guess somebody may have tried to do this, but have failed probably. Such a heresy 😁
