I use an Asus P5A, a DFI K6BV3+66 and a Gigabyte GA-5AX Rev 5.2 - all ATX (and excellent!) Super 7 boards. This article should help you track one down:

That is strange.... I actually having a hard time finding SS7-AT boards.
All I see is ATX form factor. And then a small amount of AT/ATX combo's.
No pure AT boards with SS7 is to be found in Denmark.

Yeah, you basically summed up the best of them.

Yes, Asus P5A was and is a solid cornerstone for a SS7 PC... The only questionable "feature" - it uses strange form-factor. Only 6 ATX mounts, you must use edge supports... My own P5A have died because the part with IDE connectors/speed jumpers have fell off. 🙁
The second quirk - the 66,67 MHz FSB replaced by 66.8 MHz. Why? Who knows...

Can't forget the AOpen AX59Pro.

I had an S1590 back then, I assume the S1598 is similar, but ATX.
I had some frustrations with the 1590 but I mostly blame that on the MVP3 chipset. Except for one thing - the onboard USB had to be enabled for AGP to work. I think that's Tyan's fault, and if it were unavoidable, then at least it should have been labeled in the BIOS appropriately as "AGP + USB Enable" not just "USB Enable".

Jetway 530CF... Micro ATX but a bit unreliable if you don't have the patience to re-cap and generally mess about with it to make it do what you want.

PCChips built a board that was almost identical. I suspect, then, that there were a lot of SiS 530 boards out there.

Also, seen loads of ECS boards, Time Computers used them and many were regular ATX ones with either 233MHz P-MMX or higher clocked Cx6x86's but I don't know how many Time systems were around outside of the UK.

Never heard of the brand, so it must be specific to the UK, just as the brand "Zitech" is here in Denmark.

Only one note
If you want to use an AMD K6-III+, you have to pay attention!
Some mainboards are incompatible with them!
One example is ASUS P5A that is able to run with an K6-III+ only with the last bios version and only rev 1.03 and rev 1.04.
If you use rev 1.05 or newer, the system will become unstable and slow

Great note. Just for completeness sake, what about non SS7? Where there many boards in ATX form? I have one that looks like this http://www.welook4things.com/gateway_2000_e_3 … e-3000_0040.jpg but I find it really hard to find much information on the chipset design. I generally like how everything is spaced but I don't care for the bios.

I have a non ss7 board from dell which is atx. All other non ss7 boards i have are AT form factor. Oem boards were much earlier with that stuff i think.
I do know the Asus TX97-XE is intel 430tx with atx form factor because i'm searching for one.... don't know about others.

Early S7 ATX boards started to appear with i430HX chipsets (e.g. Asus P/I-XP55T2P4), they became more common with the i430TX (e.g. Asus TX-97XE, TXP4X).
Their AT equivalents sold better because by then Socket7 was entry-level/budget stuff, and people wanted to keep their cases and PSUs when upgrading.
