I ran into some troubles again with my benchmarks 😵

It will take some time but i will do them ALL over again. While testing i tried the nvidia 30.82 driver and it made a HUGE difference compared to the later ones.
I don't know if it will have a big impact on the slower systems but it did at 750mhz and 1ghz so i will use these. I will leave out the FX cards as these are not supported by this driver.

Only need some motivation to do it all over again but i want the numbers to be correct and i will use better boards to avoid problems.

I'll be back....

asus tx97-e, 233mmx, voodoo1, s3 virge ,sb16
asus p5a, k6-3+ @ 550mhz, voodoo2 12mb sli, gf2 gts, awe32
asus p3b-f, p3-700, voodoo3 3500TV agp, awe64
asus tusl2-c, p3-S 1,4ghz, voodoo5 5500, live!
asus a7n8x DL, barton cpu, 6800ultra, Voodoo3 pci, audigy1

I use Detonator 4 43.45 or Detonator FX 45.23 on GeForce FX unless for some crazy reason I'm trying to play DirectX 9 games on the cards. Some later GeForce FX cards aren't supported by these though. Forceware 50.xx onward make some big changes and break compatibility with old software in some cases.

By the way, you can also try older Detonator series.
examples:
Detonator 1 / 3.68 (GeForce 256 and older)
Detonator 2 / 5.32 (GeForce 2 GTS/MX and older)
Detonator 3 / 8.05 (GeForce3 and older)

Thank you for the info but i want to use one driver for all the cards (tnt to 4ti) and 30.82 gives good performance.
I have to switch drivers for the voodoo's and matrox cards so using only one for the nvidia's gives me less trouble.

Just have to find out which driver is best for the v3, v4, and v5

Thanks for the heads up, that the Detornator drivers are on the archieve. 😜
I managed to squize 3333 3dMarks out of the GF2-MX400.
And yes. I eat my words that G400 are faster than the MX400. 😁 😁

Think that it is all about scalability regarding the G400.
Wondering how it's performing on a P4 3ghz or a Tualatin 1400.

You will get the answer to that almost.
I'm benching the cards on p2-450, k6-2 450, p3-1ghz@750, p3-1ghz, and Tualatin Celeron@1333mhz.

Mx400 and G400 will be included. To bad i don't have the MAX version....

I am looking for a max too... 😀 Funny enough.
The TNT2-Ultra scored aprox 50 points lower with the use of Detornator3, than the G400 did on a P3-500 i820.
The G400 scored roughly 4790 on my P3 system. Wich must be that the G400 really kicks in around P3-400 to 600.
And i am keeping that G400 in the system, as the image quality is just jaw dropping on G400's.
I am amazed every time I have used nVidia cards, when I fire up my Matrox on UT99 or NFS-Porche.
Looking forward to see the results you get from P3-Systems faster than 600 mhz.
