Very nice! Who did you use to produce the PCB? What was the total cost? And what PCB layout software did you use? Anything freeware?

Eagle CAD 7.x (Autodesk got CadSoft and now has a fucked off License Modell... so no Version 8 here)
PCB is fabbed in China, @ dirtypcbs.com Dangerous Prototypes. Also offers cheap 3D Printing.

I need help to design a Case for the Converter.
if anyone with a 3d printer/cad skill is willing to offer a STL File/Prototyp Case, i would trade a fully assembled PCB for it.

Eletrical Test Done:

- Changes for next Batch Move 90 C° to allow easier bending for bracklet mounting.
- polarity of DCJACK wrong, but this is no problem at all.

So its time to order all parts.
its a pile of work to sort all kit's together... many parts and bags..

As you can see, i added a ISP Header (last minute), allowing for easy reprogramming.
Also bootloader is in progress.

My trusty 386SX Notebook serves again to test the adapter 😀

Just Drill 3 holes into the Bracklet, make 2 angles and screw together.

And a Cable to Multi I/O Controller 😀

Ok, thanks.

I like the slot cover bracket idea. Is there a header to connect it a floppy-sized power cord, which offers +5 and +12 V?

Simply get a Power Molex 4p St->SATA 6p Adapter Cable.

Cut the SATA Connector and solder it directly to the 7805 Holes 😀

Due to the fact it is pretty annoying to update 3 lists in 3 forums i now have a list on my server.
http://retroianer.de/ps2.xhtml

I'm also trying to get a project page up. but i'm not pretty good at webdesign 😀

Please check again for correct data, and pm me if its wrong or you are missing.

who first signup will first get shipped.
so if you are added later you have to wait longer.
because i havent enough pcbs and have to reorder, shipping from CN takes up to 8 weeks and i can order first when i have the money avaible 😀.

for international payment, easiest is paypal.

i excpect the total cost somewhere between 10 and 15€ for one kit.. i didnt calculate total cost now.
but final testing is done. pcb works and now we can begin,
