I always did the oven trick, works nicely. I can't begin to even count the arount of hardware I put in a oven to mod or fix.

never did the oven, have used a heat gun, and even once a solder gun itself by placing it on the ihs for about 10 seconds to soften it, must try oven next 🤣.

Ok so I kind of jumped te gun on the before testing and forgot to take screen shots of the cpu under load.
Hopefully this will not case a trust problem. Anyway the cpu was loading @ 45~46c running prin95 small fft torture test
The cpu was quite concave and the ek water block was incredibly uneven, it had both high and low stops. The water block will take some time to even out.
Thats ek for you 😵 I don't buy their cheap crap anymore.
I'll tey and keep you guyss updated and will post pics when I'm done.

Yep just make sure the ihs is hanging and the pcb is supported and it will fall off.
