Think ratfink is right. It looks like a Soyo 5TS0
Jup, thx found it!
This is the Pentium 233MMX, am I correct?
Maybe i have to check the ram modules, or cache module. The PC is not starting at this moment, the screen is black 🙁
Should this CPU work with this mobo? It was installed on this mobo when I got it
The CPU does not start up at this moment. Maybe I should check the jumper settings
Yes it is the 233mhz mmx. It is not for that board. The soyo is for the older pentiums without mmx (and other cpu's) that need a voltage of 3,4v according to the manual.
The mmx is a 2.8v cpu. It can work but only with a really good cooler. It is saver to use it on a newer socket7 board.
If the board doesn't start, try it without that coast module and expansion card. Use only 2 ram sticks and try a normal pci vga card. It could also be that the 233mmx is fried and you simply need another processor.
If the combination does work and you do want to keep the mmx in there, set it at 1.5x multi as the mmx sees that as 3.5x and that will give you 233mhz. And cool it.
asus tx97-e, 233mmx, voodoo1, s3 virge ,sb16
asus p5a, k6-3+ @ 550mhz, voodoo2 12mb sli, gf2 gts, awe32
asus p3b-f, p3-700, voodoo3 3500TV agp, awe64
asus tusl2-c, p3-S 1,4ghz, voodoo5 5500, live!
asus a7n8x DL, barton cpu, 6800ultra, Voodoo3 pci, audigy1
As far as I remember testing on several Soyo boards that do not support mmx cpus, if you tried using one it would run at 166MHz. No matter if it's a 166,200 or 233MHz model.
Ok Thanks guys. Then I try to find a good CPU first for this mobo, and a good mobo for this CPU.
I dont want to burn it, or run it at lower speeds then possible
Apparently this mobo does support MMX procesors, since it has a linear regulator on massive heatsink. Just get the right manual that mentions Pentium MMX and set jumpers according to it.

Problem solved. 😊
The problem was, both FP and EDO RAM modules were installed. 🤣 The 233MMX is detected on this Mobo as 233MHz correctly
Next problem --> BIOS battery dead 😵

Good to see that you fixed your problem! There are lots of guides on here and around the internet to modify the RTC module (that big black ODIN rectangle)
Main pc: Asus ROG 17. R9 5900HX, RTX 3070m, 16gb ddr4 3200, 1tb NVME.
Retro PC: Soyo P4S Dragon, 3gb ddr 266, 120gb Maxtor, Geforce Fx 5950 Ultra, SB Live! 5.1
Lucky me 😊 !
Itś mounted on a Dip24 socket, now find a new ODIN RTC on ebay 😎
