the thing the makes it feel the worst is the ram amount the PC have (768MB DDR333 single channel), the first run was pretty bad with all the loading.

but realistically Crysis as a game gets much heavier near the end, so it would be interesting to test the game there, I could see the card not managing 10FPS, but, maybe I'm wrong and low is really very easy even there.

edit: this is another level of bad, between the weak GPU and the PCI (not PCIE) bus it couldn't go well

Simply put : 128MB is just not enough for higher details/res.

Also, here's Pentium 4 score (on Full HD resolution 😉) :

Same settings, but on AGP system :
QX 9770 @ 3,84GHz (FSB = 256MHz)
4GB 800MHz CL5.5.4.12 CR2T [~3GB usable]
ASRock 4CoreDual-SATA2 R2 (BIOS L2.20)
Radeon HD 3850 AGP (715/1818)
Windows XP SP3

@Last Run :
Avg. 32,75 FPS
Min. 17.76 FPS

Impressive score for an AGP system. 😎 Sure, QX9770 is completely different animal compared to 2.3GHz 65nm Phenom but this benchmark shouldn't be CPU limited, not at 30 fps anyway. 😀 Perhaps Win XP is faster or older Catalyst are better suited for RV670.

Thanks 😀
QX 9770 @ 3,84GHz/256MHz FSB (stock is 3,2GHz with 50% higher FSB 😜)

But back on topic : Your setup has serious problems with min. FPS.
Not enough RAM maybe (since CPU bottleneck isn't an option) ?

PS. After changing AGP GPU for PCI-e (with x4 PCI-e speed)...
Side note : PCI-e cards add ~500MB of RAM to usable pool of ~3,4GB.

Radeon HD 5870 1GB (850/4800) :
Avg. 82,22FPS,
Min. 42,71FPS

Since that's... kinda high for "High" settings - I upped resolution to Full HD, added MSAA x4 on top and run the test again 😉

Result :
Avg. 55,01FPS
Min. 38,24FPS

Something does prevent choosing medium, crysis crashes every time using any setting higher then low.
1280x1024 is pretty heavy for this Machine.
Crysis Demo runs ok at 800x600, and is playable.

The Phenom 1 has Performance Problems.. with TLB Bug 7zip performs worse as example. (BIOS Bugfix enabled.)

is that an IGP or discrete card?
I almost bought a Chrome 440 GTX once (lost the auction on the last second), would be interesting to test those, I remember them being competent against the low end AMD/Nvidia at the time (8400GS/HD2400)

in any case even the C7 is probably to slow with any VGA, a Via Nano based system would probably do a lot better! still, impressive that it "runs" 😎

Its a discrete PCI Express Card, the Chrome S25.

The Card is only Shader Model 2.0 and offers GeForce 6600 Performance Levels.
The S27 should faster it features DDR3 Ram.

I never saw a Nano or Nano X2 or Nano Quadcore System..
The Boards are very expensive and not avaible in germany 😀

Poor GTX 750Ti being held back by 2.67Ghz C2D with stodgy Intel motherboard. Don't judge, it's the best I've got ATM.

No hardware to properly max it at the time of release, that's for sure...

EDIT: Just realized I had the memory in single channel, Fixed 😀
Not that it helped much.

I changed from GTX780 SLI to Titan X Pascal and my score in this bench lowered. Something is scaling not right or maybe it's even on a fast i7 3930K CPU fully limited.

Yeah, the XP is being bottlenecked if your doing it at 1080p with that CPU (I think)

14.96 FPS
AMD A10-7860K @ 3.6GHz, ASRock FM2A78-ITX+, 2x8GB DDR3-2400 @ 10-12-12-31, integrated GPU & audio, Server 2012 R2.
CryEngine2 keeps crashing in 32bit mode so I had to run it in 64bit mode.

Yeah well the 3930K is running at 4.3 GHz and it would mean that already with GTX780 SLI Crysis was running 100% CPU bottlenecked.
