I have a GeForce CMX2S 32M video card, but have not found any information about it. Do anyone have information in which computers this may have been used? I also have a quite similar card that is Dell branded and could not get it working correctly with non-Dell computer. If this video card is crap, I will then dispose it.

That looks to be a Geforce2 MX with 32MB of memory (not sure if it's 64/128-bit SDR/DDR or crappier 64-bit SDR on this specific model). It's a cost reduced version of the Geforce 2 GTS, essentially halving the # of rendering pipelines from 4 down to 2, and it's clocked slower than the GTS card as well. You could fire up any GPU-Z (or other flavor utility) to get more specific info on the memory config, but either way, it will be slower than an uncrippled Geforce2 GTS.

It's Powercolor PowerGene Geforce 2 MX.

https://www.cnet.com/products/powercolor-powe … d-gf2-mx-32-mb/

code CMX2S stands for MX
code CMX2A stands for MX400

here's even review for MX400 version

edit: found even russian review, with very nice pictures, also the box. The memory on MX400 version is quite impressive for MX, 5ns - 200Mhz DDR, only 64-bit but overclock to 440 or 460 with good cooling. That means same bandwidth like 220-230 Mhz SDR 128-bit, which is very good for Geforce 2 MX. (original Geforce2 MX had 166 Mhz SDR memory 128-bit)
