Have you tried clearing the BIOS after the update and reconfiguring it? Also - post the system specs.
Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it but it didn't seem to help. I eventually narrowed it down to having to much ram installed. For some reason when I updated from BIOS revision 1.02 to 2.02 it didn't like me having 68mb of ram(4mb onboard+2x32mb sticks). When I popped one of the 32mb sticks out everything works just fine.
