is this card the same as an adaptec 1505A ?? in that its just a simple SCSI card that can be compatible with any SCSI device?
or is it only compatible with iomega ZIP?

They probably just used a cheap ISA SCSI card from another manufacturer (I know they did this with a PCI SCSI card). Finding the drivers might be a challenge since they probably used a 3rd party that no longer exists.
