I followed Phil's excellent guide here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6HzttM6wS0 for setting up the Windows 98 exit to DOS config. Everything works well apart from when I exit to DOS my game port and joysticks do not work. They are detected and work in Windows though. I currently have an ISA Awe 64 for a sound card.

Anybody have any ideas why this might be?

I have DIAGNOSE in \CTCM & \SB16. Which one should be used?

What happens when you run it?

Try running CTCM from the CTCM folder, see if you get any messages.

If I run DIAGNOSE /S I get the card settings listed. If I run DIAGNOSE on it's own it detects all of the hardware and tests successfully.

The same happens with DIAGNOSE in the CTCM folder.

Yeah it works in Windows and everything else works perfectly. I wish my old AWE32 still worked but the music playback on that became garbled for some reason. This was the only other card I had available.
