Well....
Time to get this one here, off the ground. Today I recieved some hardware from a fellow user.
And yes. It was a "Mystrie pack", as I have described in this topic, in the first place.
So here we go (I know that I posted in another) Yet it belongs here actually.

Going to repeat my self again.
Yes. I know I posted in "bought" earlier. And yes... Wrong place, as it belongs here.
Just want to show people that this can be lifted off the ground.
I have not paid anything for this. The one that shipped this for me, have decided
what went into the package. Next package I am going to ship for him, I am going to pay.
He will not pay for what I will ship for him, and he does not know what is going hi's way.
Well... He knows one thing or two. 😉 Just not all. As well as I did not know about the C-116.

No kitten and half eaten sardines in the box? 😀

Nope... It was nicely packed. The fun thing about that feline thing. My cat love open boxes.
I gave him the empty box and it was heaven for him.

Don't eat stuff off a 15 year old never cleaned cpu cooler.
Those cakes make you sick....

😁

If you cant get the ET4000 going test and see if the 8 DIPs are OK in another video card or 286 motherboard, also test to reflash the video cards BIOS.

As the ET4000 is one of the best ISA video cards there is it's worth spending some time trying to get it working.

Yes... When he does that, I normally say: "Så har vi fået en kasse-kat", wich translates into something like: "Now we have a box-cat". (translation for those who does not understand Danish)

Well... I don't have those tools to remove chips. And I do have an ET-3000 card, wich are looking even better.
By looking better, I am referring to that it is a larger card and the look's of it are more raw and unpolished.
I think it suits the 386 better than the ET4000. If I can get that SCSI going, the 386 machine will look awesomme.
And in the next month or so, I will recieve a SB-Pro wich I have bought. That will go nicely into the 386 too.

I have chip pullers, I often mess up pins when I use them.

This is how I remove chips without bending pins. For this to work as intended the larger flat head screw driver needs to be wider at the head than the shaft.

First use a really small flat head screw driver to raise the chip a bit. Then use the larger (but not too large, use the perfect size) flathead screwdriver and very gently push it the whole way under the chip, the chip should now be almost free. Move the screw driver to one side then turn the screwdriver gently until that corner comes free, repeat with all corners but do not try to remove the chip until all corners are free.

They should be arriving here anytime now...

Well... I gave up this idea, after shipping some stuff and recieving some stuff. Only one Vogon member was interrested in this, and we continued to ship some 10 packages back and forth. I have not been shipping mysterie packages for the last couple of years now. As nobody except that member and me, found this idea good and useful. I have tried it, yet it seems as this is no good idea between members of Vogons. I shipped some stuff that I knew he wanted, and he did not know what he recieved. And he shipped stuff that he knew I was into. Yet again... This idea did not evolve into something at all between other Vogon members. So I am out of the game. A shame, yet that is how things are going.
