Does anyone have a recommendation on an adhesive to use for this sort of repair?

I would, but I used my last one to put a condom on the noteboard so I wouldn't forget.

Sorry Comradsen. My little Jahr ke got out of hand... 😉
Use magnets, won't damage the floppy disk that way 😀
Just use new labels. Get some of those white ones without anything on them. (like patterns and stuff)
Then get an old typewriter or a dot-matrix printer and write the content on the labels. (for extra retro stylishness)

Just remember to do it in the correct order. First put the label on the floppy, then put the floppy into the form feed tracks. Advance it to the label and then print. I think daisy wheel would work fine for this. But if you have the mad skills yo, then you can convert an old IBM Selectric into a printer. It would make getting floppies into the correct position much simpler, and the selectric head will leave a lasting impression on the label.
