Well, unfortunately my Tyan Dual Tualatin motherboard crapped out on me yesterday. Ive been unable to figure out the problem.

The closest replacment motherboard I have is a Amptron M790MR Dual Socket 370 http://www.baber.com/baber/411/amptron_m790mr.htm

its a dual PIII board but AFAIK not Tualatin compatible. now i've never played around with the power leap things or whatever that allow Tualatin to run on older boards. would those things work on this motherboard?

I used a 'Lin-Lin Adapter' to convert Socket 370 to 370-T on a Chaintech 6AJA4 VIA Apollo Pro board. That board is single CPU. IIRC I did not use a modded BIOS this time. With the 'Lin-Lin Adapter' it ran fine with both the Tualatin CPU and also the C3 Nehemiah CPU. (Though some months ago I noticed this board is suffering from bad capacitors. It now only works OK with FSB reduced to 66MHz)
