The HD4xxx series except HD48xx have UVD 2.2 support. UVD 2.2 and later works very well using open source drivers for VDPAU in Ubuntu.

I checked 4670's video acceleration abilities...
They R OK, but it can't do 60FPS (720p 60FPS needs a Quad Core to be fluid, 1080p 60FPS isn't 100% fluid even with 3,2GHz Quad Core 🙁).

Windows 7 SP1 x86

IIRC youtube 60fps is using HEVC codec... only GTX 960 has full support for HW decoding, maybe some IGP as well, I'm not sure.

one thing bridge chip cards were good for was stifling idiots who clock agp cards half to dead then scalp the damaged things on ebay.
