So I picked up a rather generic looking BSR 386/16 PC yesterday which when opened had a odd little daughterboard for the built in video.
So after removing it and flipping it over to my surprise it was the CL "Eagle II" chipset which I thought was a pretty uncommon find (correct me if i'm wrong)
So I read the CGA testers thread and it appears many of the ISA versions had a 9 pin connector for CGA monitors which mine lacks. can anyone clarify the 100% CGA compatibility this chip claims to have. from what I understood its only 100% CGA compatible on a CGA monitor through a 9 pin connector.
