So I have a ZEOS Pantera motherboard with a Pentium CPU inside, super eager to test it but I haven't even been able to turn it on yet. It takes an AT power supply which I didn't have one spare at the time.

I managed to get one that was still factory sealed off of eBay, manufacturer's date says 2002 which is cool. But I'm wiring it up and suddenly I realise I don't have enough 6 pin connectors for the board. It seems two 6 pin connectors was pretty standard, they're called P8 & P9 since they have different wiring,

However according to the documentation it takes an extra connector (possibly called a P10), the manual calls it a 3v AUX connector. Also 6 pin as I say.

Now I have no idea what to do, and I don't especially want this new PSU to be useless. Does anyone know where to buy like a molex to 3v AUX 6pin adapter? It's hard to find because google keeps throwing PCI-E 6 pins up in the results.

If it's not available does anyone on here think they could wire one up for me? Is that even possible? I'm not good with wiring and soldering. I could kick you some monies.

Any and all advice welcome, much thanks in advance

That is a mainboard for the first Pentium cpu's.
Alot of mainboards had the auxiliary 3.3v connector (6 pins just like the AT connectors) to supply 3.3v to the pci slots.

In end effect you can start the board without this connector. Most old pci cards run without problem without this connector being used.
I have one of those boards too and no issues without it. 😀

Just remember that, when you connect P8 & P9, the black wires must go together (in the middle next to each other).

Just remember this saying: Red against red, and you are dead.

Don't eat stuff off a 15 year old never cleaned cpu cooler.

The funny thing is, this saying literally translated into Dutch will work also 😁

In Danish too..... Red = rød. Dead = død.
Fun thing. Just saw an allmost dead man (really old) driving an red MG sportscar. When I thought about this.

Back in the mid 90's I was working at a large mail order PC wearhouse building custom order high end rigs. One of the guys who did OS installs decided that he wanted to impress a client (whom he thought would hire him as their IT specialist), so he decided build their special workstation instead of me. Got P8 and P9 backwards and fried the entire rig. I didn't think it would fry everything, but it even took out the monitor. The worst part was the SCSI subsystem. He had used case screws on a really high end HDD and they were making contact with the drives interface board. When he powered up the system, "BANG"! Every part fried itself. $9000 HDD up in smoke, and a two week suspension from work. What a putz, 🤣.

Wow!!! And I only toasted two FX5200-AGP cards because of bend VGA cable legs around 2005.
Shure made some bright light when the resistors at the VGA connector lid up.
