I've bought a few month ago a broken UC4915 that had a leaky battery. I repaired the traces but the mobo didn't POST. Now that I have a POST card, I checked if there was'nt any error code, but the 2 displays are remaining completely blank ... (I checked to see if it was working on other motherboards and it's fine)

Is my board completely dead or could the issue be related to the UV-ROM that lost its sticker (even though I dumped it and it seemed to be okay)

Maybe make some pictures of the damage. Sometimes the corrosion can break traces almost invisibly. You can try BIOS from other boards, it may at least put some POST codes.

This is what I thought to do, but I don't really know how do I do that with a smaller ROM wich can't be erased electrically like the ones that you come across on late pentiums/pentiums 2 and 3 and that has 4 more pins

I also changed the 14.xxx MHz quartz because I thought that I may be broken but it's still the same.

Also some chips are heating up (the CPU too) just like normal

Okay so I tried to clean this with alcohol, but it did not seem to have changed anything :s
