Does anyone know where I could find a XT hard drive for a Tandy 1000? I bought a Tandy and the hard drive was detected at first but now all of a sudden it won't show up. So I'm guessing it's gone bad.

But if they are way to hard to find anymore or way too expensive, I would see about adding a IDE controller card and just going for a regular IDE drive. Im pretty sure people do that for there Tandy 1000s. (Maybe im wrong)
I have seen the xtide board but they require assembly and all. Im horrible at soldering and don't trust myself to do that. Does anyone know of any pre-assembled units to buy or something similar?
There must be some other 8-bit cards out there that work on the Tandy no?
