I have searched for AU8830 specs infos or review and didnt find the answer for this question - does Aureal Vortex 2 have support for EAX 2? or just 1?
If it supports only v1 then will the EAX Unified Driver v2.06 ("wrapper") work with it?

I can't give any lengthy replies as I only have access to my phone at the moment, but it supports the EAX 1.0 presets when using the 2048 and 2050 drivers. But Aureal with A3D 3.0 games make use of A3Dverb which are their own set of preset reverb types and closely resemble EAX 2.0 settings.

I have no clue about the wrappers, I haven't played around with them much.
