I received free IBM PS/1 from my work place and it's in very good condition. Only downside to the machine is that the processor is only a lowly 486SX running at 25mhz. On the plus side, the processor is socketed so can I just drop in a 486dx2 chip to get an FPU and some sorely needed processing power to play doom?

They came in the packages of Overdrive chips. I don't think the secondary socket is specifically a Socket 1/2/3 socket, so I think you need to get a special chip.

That's a good system, I had one and I am still bummed that I broke it.
