Windows 98se won't show my new 5 1/4 drive. I had previously had a ls-120 super drive as drive B:, not sure if that would matter. Power Tools shows that windows has not disabled showing the drive. If I exit to DOS it works like a champ, so I don't think it's the drive itself. Drive is Set up in BIOS. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I have the same problem, in two completely different machines. Both machines have two floppies each, both floppies of each machine are working correctly under MS-DOS 6.22 and Windows 95, yet there is only A: drive visible in both machines under Windows 98 SE. Here is the thread I talked about it in the past. There is no solution yet.

Re: Windows 98 unable to detect second floppy drive

There is almost nothing common between the two machines, except Windows 98 SE, so it should be something related to Windows 98 SE itself, but I really don't remember anything like this from the past, when I was using Windows 98 for real life purposes (I had a 5.25" drive till I changed my Pentum 4 to an Athlon 64 and stop using Windows 98 / ME in favor of XP).
