I have a Shuttle HOT-419 Mainboard with Amibios 486DX ISA BIOS (28pins) and a BIOS file called 419AIP06.ROM.
Flash via software is not possible i.e. I have to program a new IC.
I have a TL866A USB Programmer and would like to program an empty EPROM.

Question: Which EPROM (part no) I have to buy?

27512 or 27C512 should work.

Is the TL866A USB Programmer a good one to buy or would anyone recommend that I purchase a different make or model ?

yes, but make sure to get the new version "TL866II Plus"
