Does anyone have info on the Chaintech 586SLB-P104 Socket 5 AT motherboard? I have one, along with a Pentium 75 in my collection I'm logging into my parts database. I need some info on it though, specifically if it takes FPM or EDO RAM (4x 72 pin slots on the board). I'd love to see some sort of manual, or anything really, since almost nothing's available about it on the web.

Thanks. 😊

BIOS is here: http://www.elhvb.com/mobokive/Archive/Chaintech/bios/5slb/

Chipset (SiS 85c801/803) appears to support EDO.

Just to add to what's already mentioned, putting standard EDO SIMMs into a motherboard that supports standard FPM SIMMs is very unlikely to actually damage any parts. Most of us have done it, if only to try out EDO in 486 motherboards.

Whats missing in your collections?

Magic....... that and I own a Chaintech board and had to decipher their model numbers to find info on a 486 board.
