I was recently gifted an Acer/AOpen VI15G motherboard, complete with AMD DX2-66 CPU, 8 MB of RAM, and 256 KB of cache. The guy who gave it to me showed a sticker on the back, identifying it as a "VI15DX4" and saying it is compatible with DX4 CPUs. All online documentation for the VI15G model says it can only take up to DX2 66 MHz CPUs, while searching VI15DX4 brings up no results.

Tomorrow I may get to see the manual but I am confused as to whether this board is DX4-compatible or not.

If anyone has owned this board, will it accept these CPUs? Also, is there documentation for the "VI15DX4" variant this may be?

Yes, you can see in the photo that it has a voltage regulator, so that revision supports the DX4 and other 3 volt processors. The jumper settings for those were on the AOpen site, though I don't have the link at hand right now (mbarron.net only has the 5V CPU settings).

EDIT: found the link
