I'm running an ide to sd card adapter and I'm running out of sd cards that will actually work in it, seems to demand both sandisk cards and microsd adapters. I accidentally started windows on system B, when it was installed and configured for system B. It seemed to work alright apart from having to load some drivers on startup - I think even the onboard video is identical. Will I run into problems by "sharing" the install like this?

I suggest creating separate "hardware profiles" for both systems:

This way you'll avoid constant reinstallation of every device on boot.

To me, it worked fine most of the times for testing purposes, provided it was a 9x install. I used to do this regularly back when people were tossing out old rigs like it was trash (mostly to check if the harddrive was still functioning).
For my own rigs, I prefer a new install on each separate rig, even though it is more time consuming.
