I need to pick up a PSU for this rig:

Win98
Intel D875PBZ 478B Motherboard 875P
Pentium 4 3.20GHZ/215/800
AGP Geforce FX 5900 Ultra (possibly a future 6800)
1GB DDR PC3200 (x2 512MB modules so I can use just one)
SB Audigy 2 ZS
Diamond MX300 Aureal

How much wattage do I want and are there any amps I need to look out for on individual rails?

This is a rather 12v heavy (aka, modern) rig. A solid 400-500watt psu would suit you just fine, my advise would be to pick up a new Antec, Corsair, EVGA, Seasonic, or other reputable new, modern unit. With enough molex and sata connectors of course.

Main pc: Asus ROG 17. R9 5900HX, RTX 3070m, 16gb ddr4 3200, 1tb NVME.
Retro PC: Soyo P4S Dragon, 3gb ddr 266, 120gb Maxtor, Geforce Fx 5950 Ultra, SB Live! 5.1

400-500 watt... were do you want to go..?

A Pentium 4 3.2 has a TPD from 82 watt.www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Pentium_4/Intel- ... 200D).html

The Geforce FX 5900 Ultra has 59 watt. https://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/704/geforce-fx-5900-ultra

Give 10 watts for the harddisk and 40 max for the mainboard. All some other stuff... maybe also 40 watts.

makes: 231 watts. So a 250 watt would do fine. Maybe 300.
