I've split this into two threads on this machine, this is just for photos and the other is a hunt for parts: Need help finding a suitable 486 board for my osborne

Found this machine for sale when searching for the osborne 486 i had as a kid. A couple of members on here own the machine i had as a kid but i haven't seen this particular model before and google shows up nothing. Overall they are very similar with only the front panel and motherboard being different, the rest of the case appears to be identical. I took a gamble when i bought this, it was untested and in the photo's i noticed a small black mark that looked like a burn mark but was hard to see in the photo. Once i got it and had a look in person the motherboard is indeed dead, there is a burn mark near the floppy drive connector that scraped back to the copper underside of the board as soon as i poked it and some of the pins on the s3 graphics chip have lifted. A shame as it looked to be a nicely spec'd 486 motherboard so for now I've got a osborne 486 doorstop until i hopefully find a suitable board to fit the case.

Nice looking system...cause you know....I'm not biased at all 😉
What's the motherboard part number? and cant quite make it out who was it the "property of" once in the past
Funny how they removed the keyboard lock on later models even though the motherboard supported it.

All i can find on the board is its serial number which is mb32800825, can't seem to find anything else on it. The stamp on the top says that is was the property of the university of Melbourne. Shame i don't have the key for the keyboard lock.
