Does anyone know this 386/486-OPTi495SLC-board and the settings for the jumpers, or where i can find it?

(the missing AMI-BIOS-Chip is present 😉 )

another one of those boards showed up here, this one is not posting but looks ok apart from missing the clock generator and its jumper settings. Did anyone figure out the jumper configuration for this board, or a manual?

file.php?mode=view&id=161570

the clock generator post from 2020 did show what mx8310 / mx8315 could do if my board had one like the one in the first post: Re: Clock generators on Socket 7 and older motherboards

So this guy here:https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/taken- … nown-opti495slc

No docs yet, but at least that’s a shot of what the board looks like when jumpered for a 386 cpu.

What jumper configuration do you want to workout?

Board does not post, any jumper configuration which would make it post is progress. I tried those settings where I could identify, no luck so far.

The board on Retro Web seems a different revision/layout (clock oscillator only). The board that created this post is mx8310-15pc only, it seems. This latest board seems to accept a clock oscillator, a dip-8 IC or a dip-14 IC. I am not sure which I should use, but tried everything so far.

I tested with a regular 32Mhz clock oscillator, a dip-14 mx8310-15pc, and a dip-8 BIT 0705P as it seems the board could be configured for at least one of those to work, if not all three depending on jumper settings. Tested with 386 and 486, replaced cache, replaced bios eprom.

Diagnostic card showing all voltages lit, frame lit, reset off, irdy off, clk off. - 4 dashes on the main post display.
Keyboard does not blink its leds, 5v for keyboard is there.

Maybe this board is expecting a IMI SC425APB clock generator instead of mx8310-15pc.
