I had reconfigured my ISA passive back plane system to test out a really flakey 486 SBC i bought, when I put my 386SX card back in it the mouse wouldn't work, I did some troubleshooting and found that if I remove my Aztech Galaxy Nova 16 sound card the serial mouse will work fine, There shouldn't be an resource conflicts between the card and either serial port since the serial ports are on IRQs 3 & 4 and IO ADDR. 2F8 and 3F8 which shouldn't interfere with anything on the sound card, I even tried changing the I/O address of things on the sound card using the Aztech configuration utility and disabling the MPU-401 and the gameport but that didn't help either.
Anyone have any suggestions as to what might be the problem?
