My PAT48PG4 1.2 doesn't seem to recognize both the CPU and RAM properly.

The DX4 CPU's I've tried are all recognized as enhanced DX2's at the right clockspeed. How can I fix that? And does that even matter in the first place?

As for the RAM it sees the amount of RAM very inconsistantly, sometimes it recognizes the full 32mb but other times only 1mb, 16mb or 8mb. How can I make it so it see's the amount of ram consistently. (already cleaned the contacts)

I'm not familiar with "enhanced" DX2 Quick google brings up Wiki that does list it though so maybe they are actually Enhanced chips?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Am486

Otherwise it will probably be a missed jumper somewhere.

Looking here http://stason.org/TULARC/pc/motherboards/T/TM … 4-VER-1-2A.html
you have CPU speed jumpers JP5, JP12, JP13, JP14 for speed which you seem to have correct.

But did you set the CPU type? RNA1, RNA2, RNA3, RNA4, RNB1, RNB2, RNB3, W8
As well as JP15, JP16

RAM is a strange one, I've never seen it change so much, maybe a faulty stick that randomly "looses" a ram module? No idea really though?

Made some pics maybe someone sees something I clearly don't. http://imgur.com/gallery/QdSQC

I've set all as marked on the board it self. It seems to not quite line up with both this: http://stason.org/TULARC/pc/motherboards/T/TM … -2-0-PAT48.html and this: http://stason.org/TULARC/pc/motherboards/T/TM … 4-VER-1-2A.html
It having the layout of the second but jumper settings of the first.

Although what I found even weirder was that when I set jumper 11 at "2x P24C" the CPU is recognized as a M1-S, which seems to be a cyrix 5x86.
(BTW for someone in the future, JP11 is "1-2 = p24c x2", "2-3 = p24c x2.5" and "open is p24c x3 or other CPU" and is located next to the socket)

Also the board states that pin 15 is just on or off; on meaning P24D and off "other CPU". All while having 3 pins somehow.
And 16 being for P24D WT. on pin 1-2, p24D WB. on 2-3 and "other CPU" with no header shorted.
