I have a broken P67 Sabertooth TUF board (powers on, but red LED_CPU light). It has a chip very similar to below:

Edit: The middle top image (small rectangular 8 legs)

Can this BIOS flash kit read/write that chip? I also have an Abit TH7-II with a bad BIOS as well.

The best way to figure out if your chip is supported would be to get the exact numbers off of the chip and check the complete supported IC list for the programmer you mentioned. You can also find their introduction to that unit, as well as its latest software here.

Your first eBay link shows different chips in different packages. If you post pictures of your actual ICs, someone here will surely be able to figure out if it is on the supported list.

BIOS chip is a Winbond 25Q64BVAIG. I see the support list includes 25Q64BV... and with the current eBay sale, I went ahead and bought it.

I think at the very least it will resurrect my TH7-II.

Those seem to be SPI flash ICs, which are usually less trouble to program. If your board uses the 8-SOIC version, most of the TL866 bundles include more than one adaptor that should work.

We still have a TH7-II that gets occasional use. Is it just a flash problem that you're having with it?
