Hi!
Because of my recent K6 build I've got interested in retro pcs again.
I have Abit BX6 mobo was behaving strangely from the day I bought it. Basically it can boot only with one CPU: sloted Pentium III 933. Apart from this one, I tried:
Celeron 300A
Celeron 333
Pentium II 350
Pentium 500E with MS-6905 adapter
... And few more with fsb ranging from fsb 66 to 133 with 0.25 and 0.18 models. What bugs me is that board remains dead with any CPU, but runs nicely with quite demanding one (fsb 133, 1,7V). I have installed few oses and used it for some time without a issue.
Had anyone encountered such a problem? Board has nice looking caps, although they were never replaced.
