Was there a retail release for this CPU lineup? Does anyone know how these retail boxes looked like? I couldn't find any pictures on the interwebz™.

the earliest AMD retail boxes I have ever seen were sempron and athlon 64 boxes. I have heard there were boxed athlon XP (boxed with cooler) but I have never actually seen any.
I am not aware of retail packaging for any earlier AMD CPUs

The K6 iterations had retail releases. See attached file (image from: www.cpushack.com)
