Hi, i'm having some problems related to my capture card.
It's a Pinnacle PCTV 110i, uses the Phillips SAA7133 chip.
The problem is, the maximum resolution allowed is 320x240, which makes the image very blurry.
In some computers I have been able to use up to 720x576 with this card but now i'm not able to reproduce such adjustment in my computer, using the exact same drivers, software and OS.
I've tested in multiple OS (Windows XP up to 10, Lubuntu 12.04 up to 16.10) with different software (VLC, Kodi, AmCap, MPC-HC, some capture software) and nothing changes.
In VirtualDUB I was able to use such resolution but the program was just scaling the image, and when i used the real resolution the image was a lot sharper, even in composite and RF.

What could be do?

Try DScaler, it has direct support for the chipset.

For the other applications, it might be that there is a resolution option for the driver when opening the properties of the capture card filter in the filter chain.

Installed it, doesn't work, gives me driver error, maybe because i'm using x64 windows

It has a window to select the resolution, but only gives 320x240, what can I change is the color encoding i think is called, it gives me RGB32, RGB24, YUV, and like 6 more options, but doesn't change anything, everything looks the same.
