Hi all,
I've tried all the suggested BIOS shortcuts for my Gateway 2000 4DX2-50V I recently acquired, and I still can't access the BIOS.
The only time I was able to was after I replaced the CMOS battery.

If you have any ideas, let me know.

P.S. The system is running Windows 3.11 for Workgroups.

Try holding down Ctrl Alt and tapping Esc
That'll be if it's a Phoenix BIOS.

If that doesn't work can you tell us "all the suggested BIOS shortcuts" you have tired,
Save time rather then us trying to second guess if you tired it already or not?

I've tried all the F keys, ESC, space, CTRL shift up, CTRL shift down.

F1 and Del(ete) would be the ones to try first, but usually the combination required is shown on screen during boot.
