After going through my graphics cards, I found asus agp-v3800 magic/16Mb. It is based on TNT2 M64 which has good compatibility with dos. There also exists PCI version of TNT2 M64, so I was wondering does it use the AGP features that causes problems with super socket 7 or would it work same as PCI version of TNT2 M64?

The issues are specifically related to the AGP port, so would not occur with a PCI card.

That said, if you already have a period-specific AGP card, why not give it a go? If it doesn't work you can always try to find something else, but it might just do exacly what you want 😉

IF you get problems, they probably come from a tnt/tnt2 card or probably geforce1. But indeed, just give it go, it might work just fine. Just remember to use one of the latest agp drivers.

You can also have 10 tnt cards and 8-9 are working fine and one doesn't. Really need to test it yourself.
