I Just want use ISA or VLB controller because the serial head port uses diffrent pins orders. Its possible use just only disabling the motherboard COM port in the bios? Also using serial PCi card?

Retro rig 1: Asus CUV4X, VIA c3 800, Voodoo Banshee (Diamond fusion) and SB32 ct3670.
Retro rig 2: Intel DX2 66, SB16 Ct1740 and Cirrus Logic VLB.

Should work - although if and how to disable serial on it depends on the card. Why a PCI serial card though? What's the added value over just using the serial on the multi I/O?

There are two versions, and the solder work is pretty easy.

Upper one is the older and more unocommon, and the lower one is the more common, in use even today.

But the conversion is easy. and you can see the system, one version alternates up and down, and the other just put half pins up and other down.

I am aroused about any X86 motherboard that has full functional ISA slot. I think i have problem. Not really into that original (Turbo) XT,286,386 and CGA/EGA stuff. So just a DOS nut.
PS. If I upload RAR, it is a 16-bit DOS RAR Version 2.50.
