I have a few computers that use no-bezel floppy drives, which need to be replaced. I have a bunch of floppy drives with bezels, but none without a bezel. Is it possible to convert a floppy drive with a bezel into a no-bezel floppy drive?

I tried just removing the bezel, but then there is no flap (not sure if that is the correct term).

Thanks.

Some drives have the flap mounted on the metal bits rather than the bezel, finding such a drive is possibly the least painful way to do it. It wouldn't be very hard to get the flap mounted on the metal bits or perhaps even on the chassis of the computer itself. I have found the eject button to be more annoying to deal with.

Just take the stuff apart and see how things are designed. Then you will see if things fit together.

Don't eat stuff off a 15 year old never cleaned cpu cooler.
