I have a cooler master SECC2 fan-heatsink combo in my PC. It used to be inaudible but now the fan is notoriously loud and the BIOS makes it spin faster the lower the temperature as opposed to the other way around. I can sometimes fix it by fiddling with the cable but it's broken by default. What should I do with it? I should mention that I have lubricated it with oil several times already.
