^^^OK, fixed, thanks. Never heard of a Ali/Acer 286 Chipset, therefore I assumed the label is covering the name.

Hello everyone 😉
Im wonder about the Bios Images of this 286-Japanese Board. I got exactly the same Board with "one" bad Bios Chip. (the Odd one)
After comparing the Files it looks like that they are not even nearly the same!?

1.Size of the Chips
On my Board two Eprom 27C128 (16k) are used. The Files in this Thread are 64k each. Guess there is a Jumper on the Board for switching between 27C128 and 27C256 but that would still not be enough...

2. Data Content
I compared the Data Content and they are total diffrent. The downloaded one dont even say something like "AMI" or "286" ??

Do i need some kind of tool to translate the Code? Just wondering...

...but you are right, there was an error in the image. Is fixed now and the new one has been re-written to an empty EEprom to test. Have no explantion, read the ROMs with TL866 and verified once. Maybe there was a loose contact 😕
