I've been looking for a good laptop for DOS games, and I believe I've found one: A Toshiba Protege 610CT. Can anyone confirm for me if this laptop is good for DOS gaming?

Yes, the pre-3000 series Toshiba Satellite/Portege/Tecra CT/CDT/CDX are some of the best laptops you can get for DOS gaming, however depending on the processor, you might not be able to run post-1998 Windows games, however, there is a special dock for these older Toshiba laptops which you can use which allows graphics card expansions to be placed in (Docking Station V Plus), so you can actually run Windows games like Quake II/III with glide support on your laptop if you get a Voodoo card installed in your docking station.

Also don't settle for a CDS/CS Toshiba laptop in case you have to settle for something else, those have STN screens which make DOS gaming blurry. CDT/CT/CDXes have TFT screens which are ideal for DOS gaming.

Yeah, it's pretty good for DOS, however that 90MHz Pentium won't run so well on post-1995 Windows games, and 3D acceleration will be basically nonexistent.

Not a problem for me: I only want to play DOS and Win 3.1 games on it. I have a separate rig for late 90's gaming.
