HI there,

I was thinking that, since X86 CPUs were extensively used in industrial enviroments back in the 80's and 90's, there may be need for replacements.
I found this computer-on-a-board, which is compatible with a 486:

However, it's not a complete standalone 486 compatible system...

Does a complete system (including ISA cards) exist? I mean brand new hardware. I am not talking about FPGAs, since I already know about that.

SBCs can still be found new though I dont know if they are just new old stock..

I've floated this idea many times but nobody seems to have the required knowledge, time, resources, and willingness to make it happen. I could do it if I wanted to but it would consume my whole life and I would end up broke on the streets.
