lots of nos k6-2+ on ebay. only difference is some cache size, and that doesnt change speed by any margin at all, so no real loss. my 450 runs at 500mhz perfectly fine at bus speed of 100mhz.

i have not seen any real k6-iii+ for sale on ebay for a long time (I could never find one when I was looking a few years ago)

I bought one on ebay probably 1 1/2 years ago. I'm not sure of the precise date.
I think i gave about $20 shipped. Its a 450MHZ, but overclocked stable to 550.
Still running in my old Compaq Presario with my VooDoo 3 PCI.

I remember them being readily available at the time, with plenty of sellers to choose from.

Bought a NOS (but tray) K6-3+ ATZ from a German eBay seller back in January for a nice low price (EUR 15 iirc). Not needed to look for another since, but they are definitely still out there, if not now probably soon enough with some patience.

I just bought some AMD K6-2 533mhz CPU's from eBay for $12 each NEW.
These sold for $167 back in the day.

I just had a look, and I couldn't find a listing for any K6-3+ CPUs on Ebay. There were a few listings of K6-3 CPUs, and a fair number of K6-2+ ones, but I didn't see even one K6-3+.

That would make me feel uncomfortable as a buyer since he lists neither the core voltage nor advertises it as a K6-3+, but instead shows a photo of one.

Strange - if you choose AMD CPUs and Socket 7, that listing doesn't show up. Considering how rare those are these days, that's a decent deal.

1.5V? Did anyone confirm that voltage? His photo reads 1.6V.

I'd say it's a typo and they are 1.6V as seen on the photo.

I bought one of these on Ebay years ago, and it's been fine at 500 MHz @ 2.0 volts for years now.

There's no real difference between 1.6v and 2.0v versions, former is just confirmed to work with lowered voltage and latter might not.
