Hello!

Recent find was a P166 on a FIC VT-502 motherboard. Came with an IDE 1GB drive, but I wanted to upgrade to something bigger, so I installed a trusty CF-IDE drive with IBM 4GB SD and nothing, no go. Won't recognize the drive . I also tried an 8GB, nothing. I found the manuals at

But no mention of IDE limits. I would seem strange that a P166 would have a 2GB limit no?

Any ideas?
