I don't really mind this particular overclock. And as you already mentioned, it was indeed quite common with relatively low risk. Some of these parts could as well have been actual 160MHz parts, similar to how many P1 MMX 233 chips were basically faster parts that were sold as slower parts (partially as not to hinder sales of its flagship chip, Pentium II).
